Jewelry Care

Jewelry Care

Your jewelry is made to be worn and loved. With a little care, your pieces can stay beautiful for years to come.

Because each piece is handcrafted, we recommend treating your jewelry with care and storing it safely when it’s not being worn.

Solid Gold

Solid gold is made to last a lifetime, but it can naturally develop small scratches and signs of wear over time. This is part of the beauty of a piece that is worn and loved.

To keep your gold looking its best, gently clean it with warm water, mild soap, and a soft-bristled brush. Avoid harsh chemicals and store pieces separately to help prevent scratching.

Diamonds + Gemstones

Diamonds are incredibly durable, but their settings still require care. Avoid knocking your jewelry against hard surfaces and periodically check that stones feel secure, especially in rings worn every day.

Diamonds can be gently cleaned at home using warm water, mild soap, and a soft-bristled brush.

Gemstones vary in durability, and some require more delicate care. Opals, pearls, moonstones, and other softer stones should be kept away from harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, and extreme temperatures.

Gold Fill

Gold-filled jewelry is designed for everyday wear and, with proper care, can remain beautiful for years.

To preserve the finish, avoid prolonged exposure to chlorine, perfumes, lotions, and other chemicals. Gently wipe your jewelry with a soft cloth after wearing and store it in a dry place when not in use.

You absolutely can wear your gold filled jewelry in the shower and the water.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and may develop tarnish over time. This is completely normal and can be easily refreshed with a silver polishing cloth.

To slow tarnishing, keep your silver jewelry dry and store it in a closed pouch or jewelry box when you're not wearing it.

Everyday Care

As a general rule, we recommend removing your jewelry before swimming, showering, exercising, cleaning, or using harsh chemicals

When you're not wearing your pieces, store them individually in the pouch or box provided to help prevent scratching, tangling, and unnecessary wear!
